In the southern sector, the assault units of the Russian Vostok Group are on average 86% staffed, but some units that took part in the assaults have significantly fewer personnel.

This was stated by Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, in a comment to Ukrinform.

“The staffing level of the Storm units of the Russian Vostok group's formations and units is 86%; these are specifically assault troops,” he said.

According to Voloshin, there are units with a full complement of over 90% that are ready for active assault operations, as well as units with lower staffing levels.

“There are units that are more than 90% complete, but there are also units that took part in assaults and are now 33-35% complete. More than 85-90% are assault troops who are attacking our positions,” the spokesman said.
