Certain units of the Russian army have already received cash bonuses for February for successful FPV drone strikes against Ukrainian servicemen in the Huliaipole sector.

This was reported in a comment to Ukrinform by Vladyslav Voloshyn, Spokesperson for Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces.

“A financial reward has been established in the amount of 25,000 rubles – approximately 14,000 hryvnias. This is paid to an attack UAV or FPV drone crew for each successful strike against enemy personnel, provided there is objective confirmation,” the Spokesperson said.

Voloshyn noted that a mandatory condition for receiving the payment is video confirmation of the strike from another drone.

“That is, video confirmation of the moment of impact recorded by a separate UAV,” he explained.

He also clarified that some Russian units have already received these payments for February.

According to Voloshyn, units of Russia’s 5th Combined Arms Army, including the 127th Motor Rifle Division, have completed their bonus calculations for February. These units were involved in strikes against Ukrainian defenders and Defense Forces units near Verkhniа Tersa and Tsvitkove in the Huliaipole sector. Voloshyn also mentioned the 143rd Motor Rifle Regiment.
