Drones attack oil pumping station in Tatarstan – media

On the night of February 23, UAVs attacked an oil pumping station located near the Russian city of Almetyevsk in the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to Ukrinform, the Telegram channel ASTRA stated this in a post.

ASTRA geolocated two videos from the scene of the fire.

According to the analysis, the oil pumping station (OPS) located near Almetyevsk is on fire as a result of the attack.

The first video was filmed from a distance of 3.5–4 km from the facility, and the second from about 5 km away.

The Kaleikino oil pumping station is the main oil pumping facility located near Almetyevsk (Tatarstan), not far from the village of Kaleikino.

It receives oil from various pipelines and serves as a major hub in the trunk pipeline system.

The facility belongs to and is operated by Transneft–Prikamye, a regional subsidiary of Transneft.

As Ukrinform previously reported, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Territory.
