Russians intensify attacks in Rodynske and Hryshyne areas in Donetsk region

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area controlled by the Operation Task Force East are holding back the Russian offensive. Over the past 24 hours, they have repelled 75 assaults.

"Ukrainian units continue active operations in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration. The enemy has intensified its efforts to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, with the Russians increasing pressure, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske and Hryshyne. The situation remains difficult. With the expansion of the kill zone and the constant activity of enemy drones, logistics are significantly complicated, but are being maintained," the report says.

In total, over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders stopped 39 assault and offensive actions by Russian troops in the areas of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, Novomykolaivka, and toward Novooleksandrivka, Kucheriv Yar, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.

According to preliminary estimates, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 96 unmanned aerial vehicles, four motor vehicles, three pieces of special equipment, five quad bikes, two artillery systems, and two personnel shelters. Also, they hit one armored combat vehicle, 11 vehicles, two artillery systems, and 70 enemy personnel shelters.

The Russian army has intensified its efforts to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, increasing pressure in the areas of Kotlyne and Rodynske.

Ukrainian Defense Forces units are countering these enemy efforts. In particular, enhanced aerial reconnaissance and additional mining of likely advance routes by Russian troops are underway.

Defense Forces are conducting search-and-strike operations to prevent the invaders' further advance, destroying vehicles that enemy assault groups are attempting to use.

Search-and-strike operations by Ukrainian units are also continuing in Myrnohrad and its surroundings.

The Russians continue to use small infantry groups, which is critically depleting their human resources.

Overall, within the Operation Task Force East's area of responsibility, the occupiers' losses remain the highest, up to 388 invaders per day.

In addition, 1,513 UAVs of various types and 158 other weapons and equipment were destroyed.

The Defense Forces focus not only on eliminating enemy infantry, but also on drone operators. Over the past day, 33 Russian drone control points were hit.
