Air Defense Forces destroyed 106 out of 120 enemy drones
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 20, the Russians attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Voronezh region, as well as 120 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of UCAVs from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), and about 80 of them were Shahed-type.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 21, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 106 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Ballistic missile strikes and 13 UCAVs hit 11 locations, as well as the fall of downed targets (debris) at 8 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, at around 4 a.m. on February 21, the Russians launched an air strike on Sumy, injuring a woman and two children.
