Russian drones attack main building and dormitories of university in Kherson again

Russian drones attacked the main building of Kherson State University and the university's dormitories again.

According to Ukrinform, the university's rector, Oleksandr Spivakovskyi, reported this on Facebook.

“Russian barbarians continue to destroy our educational infrastructure. Combat drones struck the dormitories and the main building,” the statement said.

Also, the rector noted that there were no people in the buildings.

As reported by Ukrinform, since April 2022, Kherson State University has been temporarily relocated to the premises of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.

As a result of shelling on October 12 and October 17, 2023, the state university building in Kherson was damaged.

On March 28, 2024, the Russians shelled Kherson State University again, damaging the lecture halls.

On the night of January 13, 2026, Russian occupation forces once again carried out a drone attack on the university.

On the night of February 16, 2026, Russian troops again attacked the main building of Kherson State University.
