The Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting counterattacks and assaults in the Oleksandrivka sector, preventing Russian troops from advancing toward the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was reported on television by Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesman for the Operation Task Force South, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“The situation there [in the Oleksandrivka sector] is quite difficult, but the Ukrainian Defense Forces are exterminating the enemies, trying to prevent them from advancing toward the Dnipropetrovsk region, toward the village of Pokrovske,” Voloshyn said.

According to him, Ukrainian units continue active combat operations to contain the enemy's offensive and stabilize the situation on this section of the front.
