Russians attack civilian infrastructure in Nizhyn with ballistic missiles, one person injured
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, reported this on Telegram.
"The explosion heard yesterday afternoon in Nizhyn was a ballistic missile strike on civilian infrastructure. A 49-year-old man was wounded in the attack. He suffered shrapnel wounds. He is currently under medical supervision," Chaus said.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration noted that the Russians are increasingly targeting transport infrastructure. Over the past day, there have been strikes by Geran drones in the Koriukivka and Nizhyn districts.
There were also strikes in two villages in the Snovsk community, resulting in a fire in a farm building and damage to a residential building.
In the Novhorod-Siverskyi community, a UAV strike on a former school building set fire to the dining room and library.
According to Chaus, over the past day, Russian troops carried out 43 strikes on the region, with 93 explosions recorded.
As reported by Ukrinform, on February 15, Russian troops fired 63 times on the Chernihiv region, with 118 explosions and damage to residential buildings.
