Defense Forces hold positions in Kupiansk sector despite Russian attempts to advance

According to Ukrinform, the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddnipryanska Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook.

According to the military, the Russian army continues its efforts to improve its tactical position. The enemy is attempting to advance primarily on foot, using challenging weather conditions and the terrain to approach Defense Forces positions covertly.

However, thanks to the coordinated work of aerial reconnaissance, observation posts, and combat units, the invaders' movements are detected in advance. Once targets are confirmed, firepower assets are promptly used against them.

The situation remains fully under control, and the paratroopers continue to hold the line, leaving the enemy no chance to entrench or move forward.

As previously reported, Ukrainian forces control the southern outskirts of Vovchansk, although the city is almost completely destroyed and the enemy continues its offensive actions.
