Russians scattering “petal” mines by drone in occupied Kherson region

Journalist Oleh Baturin reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“According to local residents, there has been some kind of frantic panic among the Russian occupiers and their local collaborators in Kakhovka over the past few days. They have been blocking roads and scattering ‘petal’ mines by drone in the Kakhovka district, in settlements near the former reservoir,” he wrote.

Baturin said that local civilians are now under threat and could be killed or injured as a result of the occupiers’ criminal actions.

“Therefore, as always, civilians should avoid checkpoints and places where Russian troops are concentrated. They should always be treated as plague-stricken areas, which may increase the chances of survival,” the journalist added.

As Ukrinform previously reported, in the temporarily occupied Kakhovka district of the Kherson region, the occupiers are preparing new repressive measures against parents whose children do not attend Russian-run schools.
