War update: 98 clashes on front line since morning, half of them in Pokrovsk sector

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook regarding the situation as of 16:00 on Saturday, February 14.

According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out artillery shelling of the settlements Rohizne, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Ryzhivka, Kucherivka, Shpyl, Korenok, Budky, Kysla Dubyna, and Kruzhok in the Sumy region from Russian territory.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, six clashes occurred with the Russian army. The enemy conducted 92 shellings of settlements and Ukrainian positions, including three using multiple-launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Russians attacked ten times in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Rybalchyne, and toward Hrafske, Okhrimivka, and Kolodiazne. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy is attempting to advance in the area of Borivska Andriivka and toward Petropavlivka and Hlushkivka. In total, three clashes occurred, two of which are ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six enemy attacks near Hrekivka and toward Stavky, Drobysheve, and Lyman. Two attacks are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded so far.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians attempted to advance three times toward Ukrainian positions near Novodmytrivka and in the area of Predtechyne.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russian army carried out nine offensive actions near Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, and toward Illinivka and Kostiantynivka. One attack is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces made 45 attempts to push Ukrainian soldiers from their positions near Zatyshok, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, and toward Vilne, Bilytske, Nove Shakhove, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, and Ivanivka. The Defense Forces are holding the line and have already repelled 42 attacks.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked twice near Zlahoda.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks near Rybne and toward Dobropillia and Zaliznychne. Additionally, enemy aviation struck the settlements Verkhnia Tersa, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka, Voskresenka, and Samiylivka. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice near Prymorske. Guided aerial bombs struck the settlements Orikhiv, Veselianka, and Yuliivka.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the Defense Forces repelled one attack by Russian troops.

On other front sectors, the situation has not changed significantly.

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the cost of occupying 1 km of Ukrainian land for the Russian army is 156 soldiers.
