Emergency response teams from the State Emergency Service and the police have taken over 6,300 people out of dangerous areas along the front line, nearly half of them children.

According to Ukrinform, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko stated this on Telegram.

"This is difficult but extremely important work. Evacuation crews, including White Angel and Phoenix, operate under shelling, often literally a step away from the enemy. Each operation requires careful planning: identifying safer routes, preparing transport, and coordinating with local authorities and military administrations," Klymenko said.

According to him, for many people the decision to leave is difficult, so the work of rescuers and police officers is not only about logistics. It also involves communication, explanations, an individual approach, support for families with children, and assistance for people with limited mobility.

All members of the evacuation crews are certified paramedics, meaning they not only organize departures quickly but also provide medical assistance when necessary.

"Recently, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law regulating the procedure for mandatory evacuation of the population. This important decision will allow us to act faster, more clearly, and more effectively when it comes to the safety of vulnerable categories of citizens. Work in frontline regions continues without interruption. And its most important achievement is saved lives," Klymenko emphasized.

As Ukrinform previously reported, in Kherson the zone of mandatory evacuation for families with children was expanded in the Dniprovskyi district due to the increased intensity of Russian shelling.
