Russian forces attack Zaporizhzhia region 655 times over past day, leaving one dead, three injured

Over the course of 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 655 strikes on 41 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and three others were wounded as a result of attacks on the Polohy and Zaporizhzhia districts.

According to Ukrinform, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, stated this on Telegram.

He stated that Russian forces conducted 24 airstrikes on Veselianka, Zaporozhets, Zaliznychne, Svoboda, Tersianka, Barvinivka, Huliaipilske, Lisne, Dolynka, Samiilivka, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Hirke, and Kopani.

In addition, 361 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Novomykolaivka, Kushuhum, Komyshuvakha, Tavriiske, Veselianka, Bilenke, Sofiivka, Mykhailo-Lukasheve, Odarivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Mali Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Solodke, Dobropillia, and Pryluky. Four MLRS strikes targeted Huliaipole and Zaliznychne.

Another 266 artillery strikes hit Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Solodke, Dobropillia, and Pryluky.

According to the head of the regional administration, one person was killed and three others were injured in attacks on the Polohy and Zaporizhzhia districts.

Sixty reports were received regarding damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.

As Ukrinform previously reported, an FSB agent who installed video traps to help adjust Russian strikes on Zaporizhzhia was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
