War update: 153 clashes on frontline, fiercest battles are in Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the frontline situation as of 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, on Facebook.
The enemy launched one missile strike, using seven missiles, and 87 air strikes, dropping 247 guided bombs.
In addition, the Russians used 6,649 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,215 shellings, including 75 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The army carried out air strikes on the areas of Pokrovsk, Velykomykhailivka, Samiilivka, Voskresenka, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Kamianka, Zalizne, Shcherbaky, and Barvinivka.
The Rocket Forces and Artillery of the Defense Forces struck the Russian UAV control point.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 91 shellings, one of which was with MLRS, and also launched four air strikes using 12 guided aerial bombs.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the invaders attempted to break through the defensive lines 10 times in the areas of Vovchansk, Dvorichanske, and toward Prylipka, Kutkivka, and Fyholivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, two clashes took place in the Pishchane area.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked six times, trying to break through the defenses in the areas of Drobysheve, Stavky, Lyman, Tverdokhlibove, and Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attempts by the invaders to advance toward Yampil, Platonivka, and Kryva Luka, as well as in the areas of Dronivka, Zakitne, and Riznykivka.
No enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops carried out 12 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Berestok, Illinivka, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and Ivanopillia.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled 41 Russian assaults near Vilne, Zatyshok, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiia, and Shevchenko, as well as in the direction of Toretske.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out five attacks in the areas of Yehorivka, Zlahoda, and toward Ivanivka, Zlahoda, Zelenyi Hai, and Verbove.
In the Huliaipole sector, there were 21 Russian attacks in the areas of Huliaipole, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, and toward Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, Zelene, and Krynychne.
In the Orikhiv sector, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks in the Prymorske area.
No enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Prydniprovske sector.
No signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to February 7, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to about 1,245,290 soldiers.
