Ongoing Russian attacks leave 12,000 homes in Zaporizhzhia region without power

The Russians continue to attack the Zaporizhzhia region, leaving 12,000 households without power and causing damage to residential buildings.

This was reported by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov on Telegram, as cited by Ukrinform.

"Private houses have been damaged, and 12,000 consumers are without electricity – the enemy is attacking the Zaporizhzhia region," he wrote.

The post added that repair crews will begin restoring power as soon as the security situation allows.

The attack of Russian drones on Zaporizhzhia is ongoing, and an air raid alert has been declared in the region.

According to Ukrinform, Russian forces carried out 786 attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region in a single day, leaving three people injured.
