Russia loses 770 soldiers in war against Ukraine over past day

Russia suffered approximately 1,243,840 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and February 5, 2026, with 770 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours. 

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,642 (+5) Russian tanks, 23,996 (+4) armored fighting vehicles, 36,975 (+60) artillery systems, 1,636 (+2) multiple rocket launchers, 1,293 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,245 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 435 warplanes, 347 helicopters, 125,094 (+1,351) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 77,149 (+200) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,062 pieces of special equipment.

As Ukrinform reported, as of 22:00 on February 4, 110 combat engagements had taken place along the front line between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian invaders, with the Pokrovsk sector remaining the hottest.
