War update: 167 clashes on front line in one day, Defense Forces stop 48 assaults in Pokrovsk sector

On the front line on February 2, 167 combat engagements between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Russian invaders were reported.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook, updating the situation as of 08:00 on Tuesday, February 3.

The enemy carried out 86 airstrikes, dropping 219 glide bombs. In addition, the Russians used 7,737 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,790 shelling attacks, including 101 from multiple launch rocket systems.

The Russian army carried out airstrikes on the areas of Kolomiytsi and Dibrova in Dnipropetrovsk region; Zaliznychne, Hirke, Lisne, Vozdvyzhivka, Barvinivka, Dolyna, Kopani, and Prymorske in Zaporizhzhia region.

Missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, five guns at firing positions, and a Russian ammunition depot.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack. The invaders carried out 127 shelling attacks, including five from MLRS.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy tried 10 times to break through defensive lines in the areas of Vovchansk, Dvorichne, and towards Prylipka, Kutkivka, and Fyholivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, there were six enemy attacks. The Defense Forces repelled Russian assault actions in the area of Zahryzove and towards Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy carried out 10 attacks, attempting to penetrate defenses in the areas of Serednye, Novoselivka, Zarichne, and towards Drobysheve, Stavky, and Dibrova.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 12 enemy attempts to advance in the area of Dronivka and towards Kalenyky, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka, and Zakitne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy carried out one attack towards Chervone.

In the Kostyantynivka sector, Russian forces carried out 12 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, and towards Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, Mykolaypillia, and Sofiiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Defense Forces stopped 48 Russian assault actions near Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Svitle, Filiia, and towards Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Shevchenko, and Hryshyne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Yehorivka, Zlahoda, and towards Ivanivka and Ostapivske.

In the Huliaipole sector, there were 19 Russian attacks in the areas of Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, and towards Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, Dobropillia, and Zelene.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack in the Prymorske area.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy carried out one unsuccessful offensive action.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of formation of Russian offensive groups were detected.

As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to February 3, 2026, amount to approximately 1,242,290 personnel.
