Combined Russian attack on Kyiv: high-rise buildings damaged, injury toll rises to three

"Russians are attacking the capital with ballistic missiles," warned the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, urging residents to stay in shelters.
Earlier, an air raid alert had been declared in the capital due to the threat of enemy strike drones.
The consequences of the enemy strikes in Kyiv were reported on Telegram by Tymur Tkachenko and Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.

04:12 – Tkachenko: The number of people injured as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv has risen to two.
03:40 – Tkachenko: As of now, the consequences of the enemy attack have been recorded in the Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Pecherskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
Darnytskyi district: A fire broke out in non-residential buildings as a result of the attack. A 25-story building was damaged, as well as a 5-story building at another location.
Desnianskyi district: Damage to a non-residential building.
Dniprovskyi district: Remains of enemy objects were found at two locations in open areas. Damage to the grounds of a kindergarten was also recorded. At another location, a 5-story residential building was damaged.
Pecherskyi district: A gas station was damaged. Parked cars and the gas station building were also damaged.
Shevchenkivskyi district: Preliminary reports indicate that a 22-story residential building was damaged by an enemy strike.
03:26 – Tkachenko: As a result of the enemy attack in the Darnytskyi district, one person was injured. Medics provided assistance to the man on site.

In the Dniprovskyi district, a fire broke out inside a kindergarten.

There are also reports from the Desnianskyi district. Preliminary reports indicate damage to utility buildings.

According to Ukrinform’s correspondent, a series of powerful explosions was also heard in Dnipro, which was also subjected to a ballistic missile attack.
As Ukrinform reported, air defense forces neutralized 157 out of 171 drones launched by Russian invaders against Ukraine from the evening of February 1.
