Russians attack Zaporizhzhia with drones since morning; damage recorded in three districts

Throughout the day, Russian forces have been almost continuously attacking the city of Zaporizhzhia with drones. There were strikes on residential areas, causing destruction and damage in three districts of the city.

The Zaporizhzhia City Council stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of today's enemy attacks, residential buildings were damaged in the Oleksandrivskyi, Zavodskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Zaporizhzhia," the city council said.

It was noted that damage was recorded in 14 private houses and three apartment buildings.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, 20 people whose homes were damaged were registered in the assistance program. Among them, nine belong to preferential categories. No need for temporary accommodation was reported. Municipal services covered windows with OSB boards, and restoration work is ongoing.

Earlier, it was reported that in the morning, the enemy struck railway and energy infrastructure. The Zaporizhzhia district also suffered from attacks, where a drone destroyed a house and killed a woman.
