Defense forces repel assault in Pokrovsk direction, destroy nearly four enemy platoons

Ukrainian defense forces repelled an enemy assault in the Pokrovsk direction, destroying nearly four Russian platoons in 24 hours.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the Third Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Spartan.”

“The enemy attempted an offensive in the Pokrovsk direction. The Russian occupation command sent about 90 assault troops forward. Under the cover of fog, the enemy tried to advance in cars, motorcycles, and ATVs,” the report said.

As noted, Spartan, together with the Madyar Birds and adjacent units, stopped the Russian offensive.

Over the past day, the enemy suffered significant losses, including 80 assault vehicles destroyed and two wounded. Two Russian infantrymen were also taken prisoner.

In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed 10 ATVs, four motorcycles, and six Russian army vehicles.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an assault by Russian invaders on Hryshyne in Donetsk region.
