Air Defense Forces destroy 103 out of 146 Russian drones
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region, as well as 146 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of UCAVs from the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Chauda, and (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 90 drones were Shahed-type.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems units, as well as by mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 103 drones in the north, south, center, and east of Ukraine.
Ballistic missile strikes and 36 UCAV hits were recorded at 22 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, a woman and a man were killed, and four other people, including two children, were injured in the Kyiv region as a result of the Russian drone attack on January 28.
