Russian attack on Odesa: Injury toll rises to 35, one killed
Olena Kolodenko, Director of the Odesa City Council Health Department, stated this to journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"As of now, we know of 35 injured people, 12 of whom have been hospitalized. Among them are two children and one pregnant woman. The others did not require hospitalization. In most cases, these are acute stress reactions," Kolodenko said.
She noted that one person has already been discharged from hospital. One injured person with burns is in serious condition. The condition of the remaining victims is assessed as moderate.
"The children have shrapnel wounds, but their condition is satisfactory," Kolodenko added.
As Ukrinform previously reported, civilian infrastructure was damaged in Odesa as a result of the overnight drone attack, and large-scale fires broke out. Earlier reports indicated 23 injured and one fatality. Rescue operations are ongoing.
