70 explosions rock Chernihiv region in 24 hours: Factory and grain hangar damaged

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked the Chernihiv region 41 times, damaging buildings and transport.

This was reported on Telegram by the Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past day, 41 shellings were recorded, a total of 70 explosions. Yesterday morning, private houses were damaged by an explosion of a UAV in a village in the Nizhyn district. In a village in the Chernihiv district, the Geran drones attacked the agricultural cooperative's territory. A grain storage hangar caught fire. Five trucks were damaged," the report said.

It is noted that late in the evening, two explosions were heard in Novhorod-Siverskyi. The Geran combat drones hit a residential area, damaging homes and setting fire to one of the buildings of an enterprise.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russians struck an energy facility in the Chernihiv region, leaving hundreds of thousands of customers without power.
