Russian army loses 1,280 troops, three tanks in Ukraine war over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to January 23, 2026 amounted to about 1,232,090 troops, including 1,280 killed or wounded in action over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, the Russian army has lost 11,599 (+3) tanks, 23,946 (+3) armored combat vehicles, 36,549 (+33) artillery systems, 1,623 (+0) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,282 (+0) air defense systems, 434 (+0) aircraft, 347 (+0) helicopters, 113,277 (+449) operational-tactical UAVs, 4,190 (+0) cruise missiles, 28 (+0) ships / boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 75,556 (+140) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,050 (+1) units of special equipment.
