Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,370 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to January 16, 2026, amount to approximately 1,224,460 personnel, including 1,370 over the past day.
This was reported in a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
Russia has also lost 11,563 tanks (+6), 23,908 armored combat vehicles (+4), 36,230 artillery systems (+48), 1,614 multiple launch rocket systems (+3), 1,277 air defense systems (+0), 434 aircraft (+0), 347 helicopters (+0), 107,884 operational-tactical UAVs (+527), 4,163 cruise missiles (+0), 28 warships / boats (+0), 2 submarines (+0), 74,486 vehicles and fuel tankers (+180), and 4,044 units of special equipment (+2).

The data are being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, as of 22:00 on January 15, 161 combat engagements were recorded along the front line.
