Satellite image shows aftermath of Ukrainian strike on Taganrog plant

A Ukrainian missile strike on the Atlant-Aero plant in Taganrog, Russia, on the night of January 12-13 destroyed several buildings on the territory of the enterprise.

The Russian service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty said this on Telegram with reference to a satellite image of the impact site, Ukrinform reports.

The satellite image taken on January 14 shows that several buildings on the territory of the plant were destroyed as a result of the Ukrainian attack. In particular, the strike destroyed one building that was built relatively recently – in early 2025.

The Atlant-Aero plant produces components for combat drones, control systems, and electronic warfare systems.

On the night of January 12-13, Ukrainian forces struck a UAV production facility in Russia's Rostov region and a number of targets in temporarily occupied territories.
