Russian shelling of Kramatorsk leaves two women injured

Russian forces shelled Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region with Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), injuring two women and damaging eight residential buildings.

This was reported on Facebook by the Kramatorsk City Council, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy carried out an attack using the Tornado-S MLRS. Two women sustained gunshot shrapnel injuries to their limbs and blast-related trauma. Eight residential houses were damaged," the city council specified.

Earlier, the city council reported that Russian forces struck a private residential area. The two women, born in 1965 and 1969, sustained moderate injuries. Medical assistance is being provided to the injured in city hospitals.

According to Ukrinform, Russian forces killed two residents of the Donetsk region and injured three others on January 12.
