Injury toll from Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih rises to 17
Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"In the evening, a combined missile and drone attack targeted our city. Two Iskander-M missiles hit a residential area. As of now, 17 people have been injured in the enemy strike, including three children and eight women," he wrote.

He added that 15 of the injured are currently in hospitals. One man is in serious condition, another is in critical condition, and the rest are in moderately serious condition. Doctors are providing all necessary care and fighting for their lives.

Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing. Emergency services and municipal workers are working at the scene.
According to current information, 29 apartment buildings have been damaged. About ten of them sustained very serious damage, and one building has been almost completely destroyed. Up to ten business facilities and vehicles were also damaged. In addition to residential areas, an infrastructure facility was hit.

"At the moment, 115,823 customers are without electricity, compared to 161,000 half an hour ago – 45,177 have been switched to other lines. Regarding water supply: half of the city is running on generators, we are maintaining the system, but water pressure will be lower. Four major boiler houses are without power, affecting around 1,400 buildings. The PivGZK boiler house is operating, and we plan to restore heating to all 335 buildings by morning," Vilkul added.
A support headquarters for residents has been deployed in the city, with all necessary construction materials delivered. Applications for municipal financial assistance are being accepted – 16 have already been submitted. The headquarters will work throughout the night and tomorrow. Vilkul noted that the situation remains difficult.
As reported earlier, 13 people were initially known to have been injured in the Russian combined strike on Kryvyi Rih.
