Russia confirms strike on oil depot in Stary Oskol

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov confirmed a detonation at the oil depot, which caused several storage tanks to catch fire.
He explained on the evening before that "the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an oil depot in the Stary Oskol district using a drone."
According to the official, firefighting crews are working to extinguish the blaze, and information about the consequences of the incident is being assessed.
It is noted that Russia's Ministry of Defense reported that on the evening of January 6 it shot down 23 drones, including 11 over the territory of Belgorod region.
To confirm the drone strike on the oil depot in Belgorod region, the Telegram channel ASTRA published photos and videos of the fire.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on January 6 the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed strikes on an arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) in Russia's Kostroma region, an enemy oil depot, drone control points, and other important facilities.
