Two killed, nine injured in 682 Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia region over past day

Russian forces carried out 682 attacks on 24 settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region on January 6. Two people were killed and nine injured in enemy strikes on the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

He clarified that Russian forces conducted eight airstrikes on Yuliivka, Yurkivka, Tavriiske, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa, Mykilske, and Pryluky.

A total of 409 UAVs of various types (mainly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mykilske, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Varvarivka, Zelene, Pryluky, Dobropillia, and Solodke.

Four MLRS strikes targeted Mahdalynivka, Novodanylivka, Bilohiria, and Dobropillia.

In addition, 261 artillery strikes hit Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Zelene, Varvarivka, Pryluky, Dobropillia, and Solodke.

Authorities received 42 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and administrative buildings.

Earlier it was reported that the enemy had attacked the Zaporizhzhia region, wounding three law enforcement officers.
