Russian attack on Dnipro: Seven injured, ten apartment buildings damaged

On the evening of January 6, Russian forces attacked Dnipro with drones, injuring seven people, including two children.

Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"In more than ten apartment buildings, several hundred – if not nearly a thousand – windows were smashed," the post read.

It is currently known that seven people were injured, including two children. Most sustained acute stress reactions, but there are also shrapnel wounds.

There are reports of numerous burned-out cars and damage to heating networks near one of the residential buildings.

In addition, a vocational school sustained destruction: its workshop and student dormitory were damaged. The fire that broke out on the premises has already been extinguished. The enemy also damaged two kindergartens and one school.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, throughout the day Russian forces struck Kryvyi Rih as well as the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Two people were injured and civilian infrastructure was damaged.
