Long-range drones of the SSU's Alpha Special Operations Center successfully struck two enemy facilities deep in Russia's rear.

A source in the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) reported this to Ukrinform.

In particular, a large-scale explosion erupted at Arsenal No. 100 of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU) in the Neya District of Russia's Kostroma region. Powerful explosions from the detonation of ammunition continued throughout the night. Local authorities began evacuating residents from nearby settlements.

"This was an important arsenal for the enemy, as it supplied ammunition to lower-level depots in the western and central directions," the source explained.

In addition, SSU Alpha drones struck the "Gerkon Plus" oil depot in the settlement of Streletskie Khutora in Russia's Lipetsk region. The attack triggered an intense fire. The oil depot supplied petroleum products to three Russian regions: Tambov, Voronezh, and Lipetsk.

"In the New Year, the SBU continues to successfully target Russian military and oil facilities, reducing the enemy's ability to supply its army with ammunition and fuel. All Russian rear facilities that support the war against Ukraine are absolutely legitimate targets," the informed SSU source emphasized.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on December 31, long-range drones of the SSU's Alpha Special Operations Center struck the "Temp" oil depot in the city of Rybinsk in Russia's Yaroslavl region. It is part of Russia's state reserve system and is intended for storing large volumes of fuel.
