Terekhov: Russian troops launch missile strikes on Kharkiv
This was reported on Telegram by Mayor Ihor Terekhov, according to Ukrinform.
“A strike on the city has been recorded - preliminarily, in the industrial zone of the Slobidskyi district,” the post says.
A few minutes later, the mayor reported another strike on the city - “approximately the same area.”
“Third missile strike on the city,” Terekhov wrote at 12:57 p.m.
Shortly thereafter, he reported a fourth missile strike.
At the same time, the Air Force reported combat operations against enemy UAVs in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv district.
As reported, on January 2, at around 2:30 p.m., Russian troops struck a residential building in Kharkiv with two Iskander missiles. Six people are known to have been killed, and search operations are ongoing.
