Ukrainian air assault troops stop Russian attack along Soyuz pipeline in Kupiansk sector
According to Ukrinform, the brigade reported this on Telegram.
In the Kharkiv region, the Russians tried to use the Soyuz pipeline to covertly advance and concentrate their forces.
The invaders operated north of Novoplatonivka, in the direction of Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove, deploying about 50 personnel in the attempted breakthrough.
The 77th Brigade detected the enemy’s intentions in time and, in coordination with adjacent units, stopped the assault. At least 40 Russian servicemen were confirmed killed.
As a result of the operation, the enemy failed to achieve its objectives, and the situation in the brigade’s area of responsibility has stabilized.
Within the responsibility zone of the 77th Separate Airmobile Naddniprianska Brigade, Russian forces continue to operate in small groups, attempting to infiltrate between Ukrainian positions. Their actions are under constant surveillance by the Ukrainian Defense Forces and are being stopped.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces are attempting to seize control of the riverbank along the Siverskyi Donets River, according to the 7th Corps of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces.
