Zelensky holds interviews for top posts in five Ukrainian regions

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky said this on Telegram.

“The discussions were substantive. I am grateful to everyone who is ready to take responsibility for the situation in their region and to serve our state and our people. Appointments will be made in the near future for Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Poltava, Ternopil, and Chernivtsi regions. I thank the leaders who have served as regional heads,” Zelensky said.

He promised to announce the names of the new heads after the formal procedures for preparing the appointments are completed.

“The key priority is strengthening local self-government, the resilience of communities, and the capacity of regions to protect lives and to support communities in need. Every region, all our cities and communities, must stand shoulder to shoulder in defending all of Ukraine,” Zelensky emphasized.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky has selected candidates for the posts of new heads of regional administrations in five regions.
