The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding the line within the town of Rodynske, part of the Pokrovsk urban community, as well as on its approaches.

The Command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Russian propaganda continues to spread false claims about the situation along the front line in the Rodynske area. The enemy is using edited materials and manipulative messages to create the false impression that the settlement has been captured.

As of January 4, 2026, units of the 14th Chervona Kalyna Brigade, together with the 20th Lubart Brigade of the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine and adjacent units of the Air Assault Forces, are maintaining their defenses within the town and on its approaches.

"Control over key positions is being maintained. The enemy is suffering significant losses in personnel and equipment," the military said.

Earlier reports said that active operations by Ukrainian units continued in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration, with Ukrainian forces controlling the northern part of Pokrovsk.
