Zelensky announces work with brigades and military command amid changes in Defense Forces
The head of state announced this on Telegram following a meeting with Deputy Head of the President's Office Pavlo Palisa, Ukrinform reports.
"Report by Pavlo Palisa. We are preparing for meetings with security advisers who will arrive in Ukraine, as well as for work within the Coalition of the Willing at the leadership level. The military component is key to ensuring real security. Pavlo is also working on the necessary changes in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and will be working with the brigades and military command in the coming weeks to determine the solutions that will work," the president said.
In addition, according to Zelensky, military education is being modernized, taking into account Ukraine's experience in full-scale war.
“The educational process and training of officers must be based on the real experience of Ukraine's defense,” the head of state emphasized.
The President also announced that he had signed new decrees on awarding state decorations to soldiers.
As reported by Ukrinform, Zelensky offered the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, to head the Office of the President.
