Unmanned systems destroy Vitiaz air defense radar station in Donetsk region

On January 1, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed a Russian 50N6E radar station belonging to the S-350 Vitiaz anti-aircraft missile system in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by Robert “Madiar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The 50N6E radar station is a key element of the Vitiaz complex, designed to destroy aircraft and cruise missiles. This air defense missile system began production in 2021 to replace the BUK.

According to the commander, Vitiaz is “an extremely valuable and serious weapon.” The radar station equipped with this complex is capable of detecting and tracking up to 40 targets simultaneously.

As reported by Ukrinform, the commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Unmanned Systems Forces announced that ten military and infrastructure facilities of the aggressor country were destroyed on New Year's Eve, including the TOR tactical air defense system.
