Russia attacked ports in Odesa region all night – Kuleba

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The ports of the Odesa region were under continuous enemy strikes throughout the night. As a result of drone hits, grain elevators, warehouses of civilian enterprises, a barge, and vessels flying the flags of Slovakia and the Republic of Palau were damaged. Emergency responders are extinguishing fires at the impact sites. Port workers continue to assess the damage," the statement reads.

Kuleba noted that partial power outages had been recorded, with repair crews working to restore the electricity supply.

In addition, Russian drones attacked a terminal in the Mykolaiv region. A vessel flying the flag of Liberia was damaged. There were no casualties, and restoration work is underway.

Drone strikes also caused damage to the Lviv Railway at the Kovel station. A locomotive and a freight railcar were damaged, and the blast wave shattered windows in a locomotive depot workshop. Ukrzaliznytsia workers are dealing with the consequences of the attack.

On December 25, Russian drones attacked port infrastructure in the Odesa region, killing one person and injuring two others.
