Russian forces strike market in Kherson, leaving one killed
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"At noon on Christmas, Russian terrorists massively shelled the center of Kherson. In broad daylight, the occupiers cynically struck a market where people were preparing for the holiday… This strike claimed the life of a 47-year-old market worker who was at his workplace at the time," Prokudin said.
He noted that numerous trading points were destroyed as a result of the attacks.
Additionally, the Kherson RMA reported that on the morning of December 25, Russian forces targeted residential areas in the village of Zelenivka. At least one private house, an outbuilding, and a gas supply network were damaged. No information about injuries has been reported.
At around 08:00, the occupiers shelled Chornobaivka, resulting in concussion, explosive, and closed head injuries to an 89-year-old woman. The injured woman, in moderate condition, was taken to a hospital.
As Ukrinform reported, on December 24, three people were injured in the Kherson region due to Russian strikes.
