Russians carry out 704 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region over past day: One killed, three injured

Over the past day, the occupiers launched 704 attacks on 27 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region. One person was killed and three others were injured as a result of enemy strikes on Zaporizhzhia city and Zaporizhzhia district.

According to Ukrinform, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, stated this on Telegram.

According to him, Russian forces carried out 17 air strikes on Zaporizhzhia, Liubytske, Novoiakivlivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Kosivtseve, Sviatopetrivka, and Verkhnia Tersa.

A total of 408 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Rozumivka, Bilenke, Barvinivka, Novooleksandrivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Novosoloshyne, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Solodke, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, and Vozdvyzhivka. Four MLRS strikes hit Huliaipole, Varvarivka, and Novoandriivka.

A total of 275 artillery strikes were delivered against the territory of Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Varvarivka, Solodke, and Dobropillia. Forty-one reports were received about damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.

As reported earlier, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia overnight during an air raid alert. The Russians struck one of the city’s districts. Garages and vehicles caught fire. Three people were reported injured.
