War update: 148 clashes on frontline, Russia’s main efforts focused on Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka sectors

Ukrinform reports this, citing operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on December 14, 2025, published on Facebook.

“As of now, a total of 148 combat engagements have taken place. Today, the terrorist state carried out 42 air strikes, dropping 103 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 4,003 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,703 shelling attacks of our troops’ positions and populated areas,” the report says.

According to the General Staff, one combat engagement occurred in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out two air strikes, dropping six guided bombs, and conducted 140 shellings, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.

Today, Russians attacked ten times in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, near Synelnykove, Prylipky, Vovchansk, and toward Kolodiazne. Two enemy attacks are still ongoing.

The aggressor attempted three times to advance on Ukrainian positions in the Kupiansk sector, toward Petropavlivka and Pishchane.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine Russian attacks during the day. The enemy advanced toward Novoiehorivka, Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Serednie, and Zarichne. Two engagements are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six enemy attacks. Invading forces attempted to advance near Yampil, Serebrianka, and Pereizne.

One combat engagement with the enemy took place in the Kramatorsk sector in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 23 enemy attacks near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, and toward Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 42 times near Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and toward Novopavlivka.

According to preliminary estimates, in the Pokrovsk sector alone, the occupiers lost 96 personnel killed and wounded today. Ukrainian forces destroyed one artillery system, nine vehicles, and 11 unmanned aerial vehicles, and struck four artillery systems, two vehicles, nine personnel shelters, and an enemy ammunition depot.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 enemy attacks near Oleksandrohrad, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Verbove, Krasnohirske, Pryvilne, Zlahoda, and Rybne. Six more engagements are still ongoing.

In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy carried out 13 assault actions. Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks near Solodke, Huliaipole, and toward Varvarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy advanced once toward Prymorske.

In the Prydniprovske sector, one attempt by the invaders to approach the positions of Ukrainian units near the Antonivskyi Bridge ended in failure.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the Afipsky oil refinery, the Uriupinsk oil depot, and a number of Russian facilities in temporarily occupied territories.
