General Staff confirms strikes on Afipsky Oil Refinery, Uryupinsk Oil Depot, and multiple Russian facilities in occupied territory of Ukraine
As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.
As part of measures aimed at reducing the enemy’s offensive potential and disrupting the logistical support of Russian occupying forces’ military units, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the facilities of the Afipsky Oil Refinery. Explosions and a large-scale fire were recorded in the target area. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
In addition, the Defense Forces struck the Uryupinsk Oil Depot in the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation. Explosions and a fire were recorded at the site.
Strikes were also carried out against enemy facilities and targets in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
In particular, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region, the Defense Forces struck the Volna-2 electronic warfare station, two command posts of different units of the 76th Air Assault Division of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, another electronic warfare station, as well as the Imbir radar station.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, strikes hit a Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system and an enemy laboratory for unmanned systems.
In addition, in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck two fuel and lubricants depots, the Kasta-2E2 radar station, and a high-value component of the S-300/S-400 air defense systems — the 96L6E radar station.
The extent of the damage is being clarified.
As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff previously confirmed strikes on the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in the Yaroslavl region, Russian Federation, as well as several facilities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
