SOF and partisans strike two Russian vessels transporting weapons in Caspian Sea

A unit of the Special Operations Forces, operating jointly with the Black Spark resistance movement, carried out a special operation in which two Russian vessels transporting weapons and military equipment were struck near the shores of the Republic of Kalmykia in the Caspian Sea.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Special Operations Forces on their Telegram channel.

Representatives of the resistance movement provided detailed information about the vessels' routes and cargoes.

“Among the vessels struck are the Kompozitor Rakhmaninov and the Askar-Sarydzha, which the Russian Federation uses for military purposes and which are under U.S. sanctions due to their involvement in transporting military cargo between Iran and the Russian Federation,” the statement reads.

The Special Operations Forces emphasized that they continue to employ asymmetric tactics aimed at undermining the Russian army's offensive capabilities.

As reported by Ukrinform, long-range drones of the "A" Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine struck the Filanovsky oil platform, operated by Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft.
