In the Huliaipole sector, a group of Russian soldiers, dressed in civilian clothes, tried to infiltrate the rear of Ukrainian defenders, but they were detected and eliminated.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the State Border Guard Service.

"Yesterday, in the Huliaipole sector, Russian servicemen again resorted to prohibited methods of warfare. A group of men in civilian clothes approached the positions of Ukrainian border guards, observed our forces for some time, and then, taking advantage of difficult weather conditions, attempted to bypass the positions and infiltrate the rear," the report said.

The State Border Guard Service noted that the disguise was ineffective.

While moving, their radio station was activated, which helped identify them as Russian military personnel.

As a result, the group of two Russians was eliminated.

Under their civilian clothes, the destroyed attackers were found to be wearing Russian Armed Forces uniforms.

“Such actions are a serious violation of international humanitarian law and are classified as perfidy, that is, deliberately posing as civilians or other protected persons to gain military advantage,” the State Border Guard Service emphasized.
