Russians shell Kharkiv region, two killed, seven injured
The Kharkiv regional police reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"On December 7, Russian forces carried out shelling of the Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts… Using guided aviation, the enemy struck the village of Podoly. A 70-year-old local woman died from her injuries. A 68-year-old woman was also injured. She was taken to the hospital," the post said.
A civilian man was killed in the Vovchansk community as a result of the shelling. Seven more people were injured.
It is noted that police officers arrived at the scenes. Law enforcement is collecting evidence of war crimes committed by the Russian army. Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces carried out a strike on the dam of the Pechenihy Reservoir in the Kharkiv region.
