War update: 191 clashes along frontline, fiercest fighting in Pokrovsk, Lyman, Kostiantynivka sectors

There have been 191 combat clashes on the front, more than 100 of which occurred in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kostiantynivka sectors.

Ukrinform reports this with reference to the operational update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 22:00 on December 2, 2025, published on Facebook.

“Since the beginning of the day, 191 combat clashes have taken place. Today, the Russian invaders carried out one missile strike and 39 airstrikes, using one missile and dropping 113 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians used 2,052 kamikaze drones and launched 2,634 attacks on our positions and settlements,” the military report says.

According to the General Staff, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian attacks. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has conducted 135 strikes, including one from a multiple-launch rocket system.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian forces stopped 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Prylipka, Starytsia, Synelnykove, Vovchansk, and toward Kolodiazne and Izbytske; two more clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy attacks near Senkivka, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Nova Kruhliakivka; four clashes are ongoing. Kupiansk was hit by an airstrike.

In the Lyman sector, throughout the day, Russian forces attempted 30 assaults on Ukrainian positions near Novovodiane, Novoiehorivka, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Serednie, Karpivka, Shandryholove, Kolodiazi, Myrne, Zarichne, and toward Stepove. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 11 enemy attacks near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, Siversk, and Fedorivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no clashes have been reported.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces attacked Ukraine’s Defense Forces positions 27 times, focusing their assaults near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk sector, invading units attempted 48 breakthroughs of Ukrainian defenses near Volodymyrivka, Mayak, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, and toward Novopavlivka.

Today in this sector, Ukrainian forces neutralized 130 invaders, including 90 killed. They destroyed 19 UAVs, five vehicles, a tank, and an armored fighting vehicle; one more vehicle was damaged. Five enemy infantry shelters were also struck.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, the enemy attacked 18 times near Yalta, Tovste, Zelenyi Hai, Oleksandrohrad, Sosnivka, Verbove, Krasnohirske, and Pryvilne.

In the Huliaipole sector, five clashes occurred as the enemy attacked near Zatyshshia, Huliaipole, and toward the settlement of Pryluky.

In the Orikhiv sector, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attempt to advance near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

In other sectors of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Russian claims of capturing Pokrovsk, Vovchansk, and Kupiansk are fake.
