Residents report explosions near military airbase in Taganrog, Russia – social media

In Taganrog, Rostov region, explosions were heard near a military airfield during the night of November 28.

The Telegram channel ASTRA stated this in a post, according to Ukrinform.

It is reported that Taganrog residents reported hearing explosions. Judging by eyewitness footage, one of the explosions was filmed in the area of the military airfield where two military aircraft had previously been damaged.

The outlet geolocated one of the videos and determined that it was shot 1.35 km from the Taganrog-South military airfield, where two aircraft were attacked a few days ago.

As Ukrinform reported, on November 25, Ukraine's Defense Forces, using Bars strike UAVs and Neptune cruise missiles, carried out strikes on several Russian strategic facilities. In particular, hits were recorded in Taganrog, Rostov region, on the PJSC Beriev Aircraft Company (TANTK named after G.M. Beriev) aircraft repair plant and the Molniya – Atlant Aero drone production facility.
