Czech Republic delivers self-propelled howitzer DITA, artillery ammunition to Ukrainian border guards
The State Border Guard Service (SBGS) reported this on its website, according to Ukrinform.
"Within the framework of cooperation, the delivery of artillery ammunition, provided by partners to the SBGS, was ensured. Czechia also donated a DITA self-propelled artillery system to the SBGS. This is the second such howitzer donated to the border guards. Currently, the crews of these systems are operating in various hot spots," the statement says.

The SBGS added that priority areas for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities were discussed during the latest meeting between the head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Serhii Deineko, and representatives of the Czech Republic.
During the meeting, Deineko and the partners discussed further steps in cooperation. "We are very grateful for the support, for the assistance, and for everything that Czechia is doing to ensure Ukraine remains strong," he said.
For his part, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine, Lubos Vesely, emphasized continued support for Ukraine.

"Czechia is not only a partner but also a reliable friend of Ukraine. We will continue to support you" he stated.
Ales Vytecka, Director of the Intergovernmental Defense Cooperation Agency AMOS of the Czech Ministry of Defense, highlighted the results of joint work and assured the strengthening of the capabilities of the Border Guard Service.
