Last night, fighters from the SSU's Alpha Special Operations Center, together with the Security and Defense Forces, used long-range drones to strike a number of military and logistical facilities at the Novorossiysk seaport, including a large Russian landing ship.

This was reported to Ukrinform by sources in the SSU.

Hits were recorded on the infrastructure of the oil terminal (oil loading stands and manifolds) and on the positions of the S-300/S-400 air defense systems. According to preliminary data, a large landing ship of project 1171, which was moored at the naval base, was also damaged, the source said.

The SSU operation was carried out jointly with the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the State Border Service, and the coastal missile and artillery forces of the Ukrainian Navy.

“Incidentally, during the attack, Russian air defense forces actively targeted civilian infrastructure in Novorossiysk. The video shows multiple hits by Pantsyr missiles on residential buildings,” said an informed source in the SSU.

According to the source, the SSU continues to “methodically reduce Russia's oil dollar revenues, which it uses to finance the war against Ukraine, as well as weaken the enemy's air defense systems that protect key military and infrastructure facilities.”

As reported, the port of Novorossiysk is Russia's second-largest oil export center and the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
